As a teenager, AVAION had a dream – a dream of a gold record that, in his mind, he had already assigned its very own spot on the wall of his children’s room. Twelve years later, this wish came true when he was honored with the platinum award for his debut single “Pieces”, which has been streamed millions of times and heralded the German songwriter and multi-instrumentalist’s breakthrough as one of the most exciting and promising young stars of the international electronic music scene at the end of 2019. For the meanwhile 28-year-old, this is just the beginning of his journey – as he makes clear to us below! “Pieces” most recently scored certified gold status in Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, Austria, Platinum in Switzerland and double Platinum in South Africa.

Avaions music style: Electric and experimental in equal measure, these tracks were a mix of drum & bass, dubstep, ambient and electronica, and these influences can still be heard in his distinctive signature sound. AVAION doesn’t want to be tied to a single genre; instead, he combines electronic beats with organic elements, melancholic harmonies and soulful vocals to form an instantly recognizable mix that has helped him establish a global fan base in a very short period of time. “Pieces” has been created during a difficult and depressing period in my life,” says AVAION as he reflects on his big breakthrough hit. “I was very unhappy at the time, and every day I would sit with my eyes glued to my computer screen after my late shift, trying to come up with new tracks. I was desperate to find a way out of this situation. ‘Pieces’ is about those times when you literally fall into a thousand pieces...” – and it is a track that was to fundamentally change AVAION’s life: The various versions of “Pieces” now have a combined total of over 250 million streams. AVAION delights and inspires up to 5 million listeners on Spotify. Until now AVAIONS tracks have been streamed over 850 million times.

AVAION built his very own world of sound, which he regularly invites his fans to be a part of with celebrated hit singles like “Sleepless” (in collaboration with Nu Aspect, Paul Wetz and Yuma), “Numb” (together with Goodboys) “Broken”, “Hope”, “I Don’t Know Why”, “Love again”, “Other Side” (together with BUNT.) AVAION’s tracks go down just as well in sweat-soaked nightclubs as they do in front of 100,000 enthusiastic festival-attendees.

AVAION started the year with a strong and powerful collaboration with the kenyan queen of toplines Sofiya Nzau (voice of the global hit “Mwaki” feat. Zerb) for their joint single “Wacuka” and has some hot collaborations with various dance record labels for 2025. “Wacuka” is a lively track that seamlessly combines african rhythms with electronic, emotional beats that AVAION is known for. Support comes from none other than Martin Garrix, Showtek, Lucas + Steve and Plastik Funk and superstars such as Calvin Harris, Marshmallow and &me (Keine Musik) have also reached out to AVAION directly, praising his debut album “Selfreflection” and wanting to include Wacuka in their sets.

And now, the next big single is on its way — SAVE MY LOVE.

A powerful collaboration with Marshmello and Ellie Goulding that’s set to make waves. Combining their unique sounds and the amazing voice of Ellie, this release is set to be one of the highlights of the year, offering fans a blend of deep emotion, powerful production, and global hit potential.

But that’s not all. In addition to this great collaboration, AVAION is set to release his second studio album later this year. Packed with emotional depth, signature sound design, and fresh creative direction, the album marks another major milestone in his musical journey.

Beside the steady creation of new songs AVAION’s other passion is to get in direct touch with his fans. In past few years he joined many of the famous festivals like “Sonne Mond & Sterne”, “Parookaville” and “Electric Love”, Frequency Festival and European top-clubs like the legendary “Bootshaus” in Cologne. Known for his energetic live performances that captivate audiences, he has successfully toured major cities across Europe, thrilling fans with his powerful stage presence. His debut tour, “For The Vibes”, in 2024 was completely sold out—just like his follow-up tour, “You Are Seen” in 2025, which also played to packed venues across europe.
